FAQs

What if I’m not sure which therapist to choose?

We understand that finding the right fit is important. If you’re unsure who to book with or don’t see availability with your preferred therapist, please fill out our Contact Form, and a member of our team will follow up to guide you through the process, make a recommendation, or add you to a waitlist if needed.

Is therapy confidential?

Yes. Everything discussed in therapy is kept confidential and protected under state and federal laws. The only exceptions are if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or in certain legal situations. We’ll go over this in more detail during your first session.

Do you work with children or teens?

We currently offer therapy for adolescents ages 12 and older. Our approach is tailored to meet the emotional and developmental needs of teens, helping them navigate challenges like anxiety, depression, identity, peer relationships, and life transitions. At this time, we are not accepting clients under the age of 12.

What issues do you treat?

Our therapists support clients through a wide range of challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, parenting struggles, life transitions, relational issues, and more. We also offer Christian counseling for clients who want to integrate their faith into the therapeutic process.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my session?

We understand that life happens. We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee. You can manage your appointments easily through Jane App.

What can I expect in my first session?

Your first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, what you’d like to work on, and any goals you may have. There’s no pressure—we’ll go at your pace. It’s also a chance to ask questions and see if it feels like a good fit.

How do I schedule an appointment?

All of our scheduling is done through our secure online platform, Jane App. You can view therapist availability, book consultations or ongoing sessions, and manage your account all in one place. If you don’t see a time that works for you, head to our Contact Page and send us a message—we’ll help you find a time or add you to our waiting list if no current openings are available.

Do you offer virtual (telehealth) sessions?

Yes! We offer secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth sessions through Jane App. It’s a flexible and accessible option for individuals who prefer meeting from home or have limited access to in-person care.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, we do accept insurance. A current list of accepted insurance providers can be found on our Investment page. If your insurance is not listed, we’re still happy to provide a superbill upon request that you can submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement. We recommend checking with your insurance provider to confirm your mental health benefits and coverage.

How much do sessions cost?

Session rates vary depending on the therapist and type of service. During your consultation or intake, we’ll go over fees, cancellation policies, and any other cost-related questions you may have. We’re committed to transparency and making sure you feel informed every step of the way. More information about session costs can be found on our Investment page.
