Hi, i’m monica!

Life can sometimes feel like you’re constantly trying to keep your head above water—managing stress, navigating difficult experiences, or carrying the weight of things that haven’t fully healed. When emotions feel overwhelming or old patterns continue showing up in ways that no longer serve you, it can be hard to know how to move forward on your own.

My goal in therapy is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and understood without judgment. I believe therapy works best as a collaborative process where we focus not only on what’s been difficult, but also on the strengths and resilience you already carry. Through a compassionate and trauma-informed approach, I strive to help clients feel more grounded, connected, and confident in their ability to heal and grow.

Together, we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you while working to better understand your experiences and develop tools that support lasting change. Whether we are processing past wounds, navigating current stressors, or building healthier ways of coping, my hope is that therapy becomes a place where you feel empowered to move toward the life you want for yourself.

I take a trauma-informed and strength-based approach to therapy, prioritizing safety, trust, and autonomy throughout the process. I utilize a variety of techniques—including mindfulness, relaxation strategies, and narrative therapy—to support clients in finding greater emotional balance and resilience. My goal is to create an environment where clients feel heard, respected, and supported every step of the way.

You don’t have to carry everything alone. Healing is possible, and therapy can be a place where you begin reconnecting with yourself, your strengths, and the parts of life that bring you peace and meaning.
